The presence at Expodrónica 2021 is vital to highlight the importance of the certification of drones for the CE marking and for the class label, which will be mandatory from January 2023 for every drone commercialized in the European Union.
During Expodrónica 2021, ALTER transmitted the importance of certifying the equipment to adapt as soon as possible to the new European drone regulation 2019/945. Those companies that get the certification earlier will have a competitive advantage over the others.
At this event, around 60 exhibitors attended the convention presenting UAS news and performing flight demonstrations.

ALTER gave a lecture on UAS-Drones Conformity Assessment & Certification – Specific & Open categories.
Antidio Viguria, from FADA-CATEC, presented the TRACE project, led by ALTER, and focused on promoting and fostering the use of EGNOS in the drones’ sector.
About Expodrónica 2021 at World ATM Congress
Expodrónica was established in 2015 and has since attracted over 6.000 drone and AAM experts. Merging with World ATM Congress this year, Expodrónica will bring over 70 exhibitors and two and a half days of conference programming to IFEMA in October.
