Regulatory knowledge

The Regulatory Framework knowledge plays a crucial role in ensuring the success and reliability of UAS/Drone testing procedures across various industries. Therefore, ALTER, as an accredited laboratory, has invested several hours participating in different Working groups and platforms to be aware of the latest news regarding normative and mandatory requirements for UAS/Drone certification and testing campaigns.

It’s relevant to mention that we are the first Notified Body accredited in Europe to perform a conformity assessment on Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and on third-country operators of Unmanned Aircraft Systems in compliance with the Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/945. That allows us to accompany UAS/Drones manufacturers in their goal of performing an EU Type Examination on their aircraft, evaluating them, and issuing the certificate to get the Class Identification Label and more.

Development of test plans

We provide comprehensive support to UAS/Drones manufacturers in creating diverse test plans and reviewing technical documentation on the way to identify their products or process needs for accomplishment of regulatory/standards requirements or projects goals.

At ALTER, we can assist you in customizing solutions to meet your specific needs.
