To certify a UAS-Drone in Europe, several requirements must be met. Mainly it is needed to comply with safety and performance standards set by the European Union Aviation Safety (EASA). This involves testing and evaluation to ensure that the aircraft meets regulatory requirements, including those outlined in Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/945 and Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/947 as applicable.
At ALTER, we have the capabilities and expertise to offer a complete service to test and certify UAS-drones regarding the applicable regulatory framework. As the first Notified Body in Europe to perform EU-Type examinations or verifications, that allows us to help manufacturers and operators through all the testing campaigns and certification processes of their systems.

We have developed efficient testing campaigns in accordance with the current versions of the prEN 4709 standards. It’s worth noting that some of these standards are still in the draft phase, and future changes may be implemented.
