This publication covers the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/947, the related acceptable means of compliance (AMC) and guidance material (GM), and Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/945 on unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and third-country operators of UAS.
The different elements of the document have colors assigned in such a way that the implementing or delegated rule annex is blue, the AMC is yellow, and the guidance material is green. The Commission regulation or EASA Executive Director (ED) decision through which the point or paragraph was introduced or last amended is indicated below the point or paragraph title(s) in italics.
Finally, it is essential to highlight the relevance of this document. UAS Regulation (2019/945 and 2019/947) had amendments in the last years, as commented above. The update of this regulatory compilation provides a complete approach to the current state of UAS normative.
It is also necessary to remark the big responsibility operators, pilots. In the following months and years, manufacturers will have to create a safe market and safe operations as well. Drone applications increase day after day, and regulation must always be the building block for the secure development and improvement of the industry.
